Search & Identify potential sites

Our GIS and mapping capabilities are utilised across a broad range of sectors such as planning, environmental sciences, asset management, infrastructure, education and retail. The Spatial Lab is able to use its cutting edge GIS (geographical information system) technology, to identify sites based on the clients nominated criteria of desirable characteristics. Such characteristics may include;

• Ideal land size,

• Preferred zoning,

• Location to other key elements (public transport, main road, schools, shops..),

• Availability of utilities,

• Avoidance of environmental constraints (flooding, bush fire prone land…).

Our GIS technology is able to use multiple overlays of desirable and non-desirable site characteristics and search a geographical area for sites that match the criteria. Each site is ranked for best suitability against the client’s weighting of each characteristic (ie most important to least important) to produce a list of specific site addresses for further consideration.
