The Spatial Lab can produce focused online interactive content, either publicly-accessible or secure applications, to enhance your business processes. We can also develop business-specific, user-friendly field apps to capture data or manage tasks - our apps will work everywhere on any device.
CUSTOM WEB APPS
The Spatial Lab can develop custom web applications for desktop and/or mobile devices using various tools or website coding. These apps can be secure (user name and password) or publicly accessible.
Check out our 3D demo app showing animated wind turbines within an interactive 3D scene, the user can adjust the shadows (date and time) and move around the scene. This app would be a great tool for community consultation in visual impact assessments, it could be enhanced with views from various locations such as nearby houses and towns.
Historic Maps of Newcastle NSW
The Spatial Lab has developed and is hosting an Historic Maps of Newcastle web application where you can view historic maps and plans alongside current aerials and property boundaries.
Historic maps are important for research, town planning or even if you’re just curious about our city’s past. The maps provide interesting insights into how the Hunter River, Port, road and rail networks have changed over the years.
